Re: March 2024

Fresh. Clean. It must be opening day for MLB! Even the Cubs can't blow it today...at least until 6:35 pm tonight when they play the World Champion Texas Rangers.

Re: March 2024

66°F, Northerly breeze, DP = 41°F, brilliant sunshine. The leaves on trees and grass are emerald green.

A Chamber of Commerce Day if there ever was one.

Re: March 2024

0.63 inches this morning, and 2.77in for the month. Not bad since we started out the month fairly dry. Once the sad line departed this morning, we've had a nice day. Nearly Chamber of Commerce type weather.

Re: March 2024

The 10-day forecast looks amazing. Beautiful spring weather with a good chance of rain on Monday. Wow - the NOAA forecast couldn't be much better. Sunny before and after Monday's storms. I hope we have sunny days ahead for the Eclipse Day (4/8). We'll be camped out near Spring Branch in the Hill Co...

Re: March 2024

1.36 inches total IMFY for the event. Yard and everything are about as good as it gets. No watering, very little if any A/C on. Enjoying the non-Big Suck weather while it lasts. Yesterday and today have been ideal - low DP in the 40s and 50s.. We have new flowers in the ground. Garden bush planting ...

Re: March 2024

There was some flooding near the far south end (Tower Point) of College Station, but we had about 0.65 inches so far. IMFY We're right on the edge. Mostly light rain. Good enough.

Re: March 2024

I have a 90% chance of rain and thunderstorms tomorrow. Here's to an overperformance. Same here. We could get gapped again, but fingers crossed. It will probably rain, because I did not have time to mow today. https://www.tropicaltidbits.com/analysis/models/namconus/2024032100/namconus_apcpn_us_17....

Re: March 2024

0.64 inches today and 0.78 inches over the weekend. Good enough for now. We'll need at least that every week beginning in April.

It's that time of year. Survive and advance.

Congrats to those who saw a few inches of rain and replenished the reservoirs.

Re: March 2024

Our weather station recorded a rate of 2.5 in/hour. It's too bad the storm cell won't dump on us for an hour, but we'll take it!

Selection Sunday. Ready to digest the bubble carnage from yesterday! Bubble carnage looks like the radar right now. Re: March 2024

Back in Mississippi today. I'm liking the overall pattern setting up for us now heading towards April. The Euro and GFS continue to show an active subtropical jet over our area. In fact, they both show a jet streak on top of us setting up for next weekend. System on Thursday looks less impressive, ...

Re: March 2024

Thank god it rained here Friday or I would have been completely screwed. Geez. Sure as heck missed this one today… Up in the NW territories I'm calling this a nearly complete bust. I thought for sure that storms and the rain would wake my daughter and I. Enough to continue greening. I'm hoping for ...

Not here. The whole thing skipped over me. Glad I slept through that BS.
It fizzled over us. Only 0.14 inches IMFY and 0.19 inches at the airport. At least it's cloudy, cool, and the sun angle is low.
