We were lucky Tuesday night. A hail cell was heading our way, turned south and fizzled. It must have been the tarp I put over the car.

0.89 inches for the multi day event. Good enough. There was that break in the clouds that allowed partial eclipse observation. But we would have had to drive to Lampasas to avoid cloud cover and see a total eclipse.

Well, that first line was weak. I put tarp over one of the cars. That was the clincher. The hail core turned right and dissipated.

That MCV east of San Antonio has bad intentions. I think it's going to slip south of here.
