Yeah I see them currently going away, unless they backbuild further to the west southwest. There are little cells forming currently.

Glad that phpBB server issue is resolved on here and S2k! There was no plan C for seeing posts since both sites were out.

We are starting to run out of time to freeze down here without the aid of having clear skies and no winds at night. It would have to be a cold closed low passing right overhead or a substantial outbreak comparable to our December one or the '21 one. Nothing in the models either.

It is cooling decently around Hooks apt. It is now 38 after being in the 40s earlier. Bush has 39

Northwest Harris and Bush are both in the upper 30's 37/38 degrees after being around 42 or so for the longest time.

So far the freezing air stays in central and north Texas on those models. The gfs doesn't have a freeze close at all. Looks like freezing rain and sleet if it were to be cold enough in future runs anyways and that is no fun!

It is dynamic enought for non tc related high wind warnings to be put up to the east of here in Lake Charles and New Orleans areas!

It has always really been targeted for late Jan early Feb for the return to the freezer and it seems to still be on track for that. The system midweek is to be watched for storms and rainfall since today's system looks just a bit showery and no big deal.
