Re: September 2024
I am starting to think we may be setting up for the la Nina/ -pdo induced drought going into next year that many have anticipated for the Texas region. It is unfortunate for areas to the west that never fully recovered with low lakes and rivers.

Re: September 2024
Yeah they probably wouldn't be ranked if they did an ap poll after their last week loss. Making the ex Texans coach look good!
A&M lacked spirit too in their game.

Re: August 2024
Being on the north side of this coastal trough feature and all of the clouds around, it may be a fairly dry day today. Glad I got a couple of good bands yesterday!

Re: July 2024
Once again, not weather related, but I have some amazing news to share with y’all. My mom got diagnosed with CMML Leukemia last year in October and my dad got diagnosed with Burkitt Lymphoma in February. I had to take FMLA to take care of them. My mom had a stem cell transplant in March at MD Ander...

Re: Hurricane Beryl
I don't really much more east shifts past Galveston. More than likely between Freeport and Galveston may be the best bet. The spaghetti models currently are tightly clustered and seemingly getting tighter. Don't have much of an analog system since they don't usually recurve quick this time of season...

Re: Hurricane Beryl
I would advise getting some supplies, especially water today if needed. Knowing people how they love to raid stores in events like this, things may become difficult to find!

Hopefully that qpf map above verifies since it looks like everyone, even south-central Texas would see much needed rain.

Re: Hurricane Beryl
They don't change track on intermediate advisories
Looks like a well developed core again with maybe only a little bit of time over the Yucatan coming up. Looks like some fairly good agreement on the track overall between the models, will see about the ICON model though.
