Agreed! Covering our citrus is getting to be quite the project when this kind of weather approaches. Usually, we're covering things in 30-MPH winds!!

Yeah, but the Mosquitos still seem to find a way to survive this weather and come out to annoy the living fire out of you when the temps get just a little decent!!

There's a pretty good amount of shear where 99L is now, which is probably contributing to the lack of development. As it moves westward, it will be moving into an area of less shear, which may help it to develop some.

Alicia was also my first hurricane experience. Interesting that it formed from a low just off the Miss. coast!
