I just woke up and saw some small sleet pellets in W League City.

A nice Galveston Mardi Gras weekend #1 on the way with partly sunny skies and mid 50s.

Hurricane Preparedness meetings are the best palace to meet up.

Only .75” in W League so far with a saturated yard and a few burst of sun and now as I type a burst of rain begins.

It was a sad day when I heard the news 9/28/2018 of Ticka's passing. Glad I had a chance to meet her at our Kemah gathering years ago.

Strong gusting 45MPH winds in W League and getting ready to join the party with line of approaching storm.. This feels like a tropical storm in progress. Low clouds are blasting across the sky.

Yep, rapidly moving low clouds along the Upper TX Coast this morning and a few rapidly moving showers as the stage is set. The main area of concern remains N and NE of Houston but will be interesting to see if there is any shift to the SW with the next Day 1 Outlook in several minutes.
