That cell to the northwest of Austin may be the beginning of tonight's activity? It is a slow moving and strong storm. If it’s a warm core low, I’d expect it to blow up again overnight tonight into tomorrow morning. San Antonio area could be next in line.

El Campo and CoCo are and will seem some action from the Barry moisture plume. Unfortunately, I think the action will be limited to West of Brenham and Caldwell. San Antonio, New Braunfels, Austin, Round Rock. Naturally east around Conroe - Huntsville there is some rain as well. We're in the donut ...

I don’t like how these storms are moving so fast today. Don’t expect it to be around for more than 5-10 min if you get rain today with the way it’s looking.

Not sure what’s up with the higher rain chances this week. Channel 13 has like 30-60% rain chances every day. The globals don’t have much going on, especially the GFS.

Why do these sea breeze showers blow up once they get N of I-10? What’s preventing them from doing so S of there? I see this a lot with sea breeze storms. Always has annoyed me.

GFS / GEFS show alot of tropical moisture building across CA with a active CAG , something to watch in the coming weeks with texas being between two ridges of high pressure, that opens up a lane for tropical moisture to funnel into the state, but maybe some mischief as well, worth watching give. ho...
