Both the FV3 and WRF mesoscale models are looking quite interesting. HRRR isn’t really onboard yet. 18z HRRR should be an interesting run this afternoon.

The NAM and HRRR have the MCS weakening quite a bit as it approaches southeast Texas. We needed this to come in during the pm hours so the atmosphere could take advantage of all the energy. MCS that come through during the am hours often can be weakening. The only model that I see looks good for us ...

My cousin in Wharton just texted me and told me he got 4.5” and all I got was a quarter inch and he only lives about 15 miles east of me. Geez

The WPC only has 1-2” south of I-10 lol joke. That will almost do nothing to help the drought. Better than no rain. Yes but I’m beyond annoyed how areas north of I-10 are getting it (some areas up there aren’t even in a drought) and areas south of there haven’t had much rain in months. I’ve had 6” ...
