Re: May 2024

0z HRRR has a bullseye of 10+ inches in Harris county fwiw. Re: Severe Weather 2024

Beginning on Monday, much of next week is supposed to be a big multi-day severe weather outbreak. Most of it should remain north of us but on Wednesday it may start to creep into our area.

No kidding. There’s literally a purple cell on my radar app right now just north of Cleveland. Those poor people can’t catch a break. It’s incredible.

Not in the Beaumont area. Areas south of I-10 have gotten a LOT of rain.
It doesn’t matter where you’re located around Beaumont, it’s gonna rain there regardless.

I like how that outflow boundary is triggering off storms to the SW now. Hopefully some folks south of 10 can get something.

I believe Saturdays rain chance may need to be raised and that’s exactly why I said earlier about I’m not so sure about a dry pattern developing after tomorrow.

It's feast or famine. 3.83 inches from the latest MCV this morning. That is 10.24 inches of rain for the week! Welcome to Texas! We'll continue to see a ramping up of extremes in Texas over the coming years. Longer periods of drought in the summer and more flooding rains. Stratton - you must be thi...

Re: May 2024

There’s a lot of trees down and several snapped trees so I’m gonna estimate gusts to hurricane force, 70-80mph. I didn’t see shingles down or anything like that, but several roads in Montgomery County were/are blocked by flood waters and downed trees. I couldn’t get to the nearest grocery store a c...
