Re: October 2021

I’m looking forward to the cold front. Ready for it to actually feel like fall.

12x GFS is coming in further e towards Matagorda and then a little ne towards Sargent as a strong ts, low end cane.

Continues inland thru Brazoria and Galveston counties.
Looks like a shift west from the 06z right?

NWS Houston
@NWSHouston
The city of Houston has gone 365 days with temperatures below 100 degrees. The last time the temperature reached 100 degrees was on August 29 2020 (101 degrees). #houwx
Looks like chances of reaching 100 might be done for the summer too. At least I hope so.

Re: September 2021

srainhoutx hey im just saying we have seen many times that the models show a good cold front in the long range, and then it ends up not happening, thats why im not buying into it yet But you seem pretty enthusiastic when the models show a tropical system 10+ days out, when in reality it’s very rare...

Re: August 2021: Watching the NW Caribbean/Western Gulf

If the 00z models tomorrow night are still showing Louisiana I’ll feel a lot more comfortable.

This is just crazy lol, never seen this much model disagreement before
Then you must not have followed tropical systems very much. This is pretty common.
