Well, surprisingly enough, the past two mornings have actually been very pleasant outside. I love these very subtle hints that cooler weather is on it's way. They are fleeting; but, they are here!

And, Walker County has now put into place a "Burn Ban" effective, today (07/27/2015) at noon. It's feast or famine around here....

And, hopefully how quickly that 2 months of summer will pass! Just 2 months ago we were struggling with excessive rainfall. I'm hoping by Sept. 20, I'm thinking about stocking up on some firewood!

The really bad storms came through around 4:30, this morning. I thought we'd be in the clear by now. But, in the last 10 minutes, or so, it has started thundering loudly & frequently, AGAIN!
