What a joke of a forecast. Even for Houston in mid Jan. SE winds high humidity a stalled front all week. Its pathetic when it is Jan and you cant even get a front through Houston. Im getting angry. Houston is running out of time for chances of cold and snow.

Jasons, it was very dry yesterday. I recorded a low daytime dewpoint of 13 F. That kind of dry but not very cold airmass would be perfect for wet bulbing snow

Negativity is what killed snow for Houston this last time. When it comes to cold in Houston we need collective positivity. Why is negativity toward cold and snow so prevalent among certain people?

Now the models are waffling on rain for next week. All I can say is, we need bitter cold and frozen precip and we need it now. I'm just tired of model waffling. The bitter cold air of Siberia needs to cross the pole and head south to Houston.

If it is impossible for a model to make a semi accurate forecast a week out, then they shouldnt be allowed to even try to forecast that far ahead. I say limit model forecasts to 4 days in order to be more accurate. Remember, models are programmed by human beings and all human beings make mistakes.
