Re: December 2023
From Jeff’s email. Some things stay the same
“How far inland this activity extends remains in question even though this activity is likely to develop in the next 6-8 hours.“

Re: November 2023
jasons2k I never said the threat wasn’t gone, I said the cloud cover and light rain might help add some stability to the atmosphere, im not downplaying anything, im aware of the threat and the dynamics that are there, just hoping we can get things to not go out of hand, it is a serious setup, no do...

Have a total of .54" so far. I don't think there was a single severe weather watch, warning, or report anywhere in SE Texas today. After all hype, it turned out to be a big nothing-burger. This was the biggest bust that I can remember, honestly. Nah, the moderate risk in April 2017 was a worse bus,...

Re: December 2023
Looks like a warm start. Beyond that is a question mark with a possible flip around the 15th. I would be just fine with some cool, chilly weather for the holidays and a fire going, but I'd also be just fine with finishing 2023 without a freeze at IAH. Maybe we can thread the needle and have both

Re: November 2023
The dew point here stopped rising at about 11-11:30. In fact it has dropped some since 2. Once I saw that level off I knew it was a bust up here.

Re: November 2023
So far this has turned into another bust.
One of coworkers posted on chat “This is why I came into the office anyway. They have cried wolf too many times now”
Another one said: “I think the weather people got a lot of clicks and shares yesterday”

Re: November 2023
A MCD was issued for NE Texas awhile ago.
I would not be surprised to see another one for the Brazos Valley coming up. It may be another “watch unlikely” type of discussion but some storms are trying to get going along I-35 towards Waco down to Giddings.
