Looks like the 12z GFS shows an active pattern potentially starting next week and beyond with multiple stalled frontal bounderies and disturbances moving across the state

Next week looks like its a battle of the heat ridge trying to expand north vs disturbances trying to cut across the state bringing more rain, hopefully the ridge wins

And those images right their are why im pretty concerned about this hurricane season, I cant even imagine the devastation that a hurricane especially a major would do to the houston area and communities around, hoping that texas stays hurricane free this season
