70 degrees and .82" of rain so far today

Nothing but steady light rain here in Cypress. Feel for those south of I-10.

Welp ........got almost .5" of rain. Nowhere near heavy or severe.

Band looks like it's starting to break up as it's getting to the western part of the county again.

What are we thinking about this afternoon/evening in Harris county as far as severe storms like hail/tornado threat? Or do you think most of that mess with be mainly a north of 105 event?

Looking at the radar and, to my 49 year old eyes, everything approaching Houston from the west starts to break up.

Ch13 doesn't seem to be biting. This mornings forecast only has highs in the mid60s and lows in the upper 40s.

And just like that, my back yard looks like it never snowed. Wow really? I thought the Cypress area got like 3”.. I am in Richmond and we still have a good 3-4” in the ground in the grass. The streets are slush and will be hell in then morning though We only got a hair over an inch in my area.

Got about an inch here in Cypress. My inlaws off in atascocita on lake Houston got way more. But I'll take it!

NWS just dropped snow accumulation in Cypress down to an inch and a half. Was 3-4 inches earlier.

NWS backing way off on snow for metro Houston. Went from 3.4 inches earlier today to 0.8 inches with the rest mostly sleet. WeatherBug removed it completely from the 10 day and just has partly sunny skies Monday through Wed. Yes, yes ......I know weather apps aren't reliable, just found it odd and ...

Forecast for Cypress.

I love how my weather apps are showing highs in the low 50s/upper 40s and lows in the upper 30s/mid 40s like it's just a regular old cold front. Haha!
