Re: 93L Western Caribbean. RECON Investigating.

Pretty sure we are looking at a TD now ... or even minimal TS Alex ..... I think it's a bit too far south to be much of a threat to us in SE Texas ..... S Texas and N. Mexico seem to be a likely target .... but hey still lots of factors to look at over time.

Re: 93L Central Caribbean

Yeah .... true ... we all know models have a very hard time until a LLC can develop ..... lots of time to keep watching this. I do believe this has a decent chance of becoming Alex however.

Re: June Weather Discussion

Was working outside tonight on our deck at work and noticed a marked increase in the humidity as the night went on. Pretty much betting on increased shower and thunderstorm activity over the next few days.

On a sidenote ....that QPF over Illinois looks quite impressive as well.

Cloudy ... occasional light rain ...temps in the mid 70's. Had a pretty decent band of rain come through earlier today. Lawn is soaked and backyard is flooded at this time.

Re: June Weather Discussion

Got a good hour so soaking tropical rains from the band that set up running from Ft. Bend into Harris Cty. Yard is saturated here after all of last nights rainfall too. Wonder what Flash Flood Guidance is indicating? Would not be surprised to see a Flash Flood Watch posted later today.
