Re: SEPTEMBER 2018 -Wet Week/Tracking INVEST 95L
Quick Isaac question. I know he is a good week out and has a long way to travel, but if someone was trying to think ahead (bedridden family member, management of a business) when would you turn your attention to this besides just monitoring. Thanks guys. Y'all are always so knowledgeable.

Re: September 2017 -Labor Day WX/Tracking The Tropics
If it verifies, it is going to be so hard for the Pro Met to have to deliver that news. I could see it in David Paul's eyes tonight. But to all you guys. How do the condition look for this?

Re: August 2017: Tracking Harvey/Catastrophic Flooding/Torna
Getting a little concerned with the potential of the Euro forecast happening. Has had basically the same solution for four runs now . What th the Euro projection right now? Meanders generally in the same area where Harvey is now for 24 hours then meanders back to near Rockport ...back to the Coasta...

Re: June 2017:Weekend Rains/Stalled Front
Just a curious question. What are the odds of this stalled front drifting into GOM and causing a problem? Like an Alicia thing?

Re: June 2017: TS Cindy/Tropical Storm Warning Issued
Thank you srain. The main reason I asked was like when Rita came in, we received more effects in Montgomery County than many people I knew in Houston and Galveston becau of the angle it came in. Thanks for the graph. That helps.

Re: June 2017: TS Cindy/Tropical Storm Warning Issued
Hey guys, just lurking tonight, but had a question. Since most everybody has agreed that this is mainly a rain event, our real threat is not necessarily where the storm comes in, but how far west it carries that ploom of moisture and how quickly it gets pushed north, right?

Re: December 2016- Tracking Arctic Air/Christmas Outlook
We had a 29 degree drop between 10 and 11:15 here in Porter. 48 here now. My husband was sitting on the tailgate of his truck in the front yard when the front blew in. He said it was like the AC kicked on outside lol. Too cool...literally and figuratively.

It'll be interesting to watch anyway. When I as a kid, Depressions would come in off the gulf and rain out. Hopefully we'll get some rain, but always have you kit ready.Skyguy wrote:I stand corrected.cisa wrote:The tropics are quite unpredictable.

Re: September 2016 -Stalled Front/Meandering Upper Low
Alicia was the tail of a front wasn't it? I could be wrong on that. She was a GOM home grown storm though right?
