My thought is think of a squall line in a thunderstorm. Now, think of a squall line of snow, ranging from a few miles to three states long!!!

The amount of ongoing flooding in the Austin area, including downtown, is just amazing. I've lived here since 1984 and have only seen one, maybe two other times where it's been this bad. Shoal Creek is so high in downtown Austin that the waters are up to the goalposts on the House Park football fie...

I am wondering if we are going to see ANY rain here in NW Houston...it seems to disapear before it gets here.

THe thing that worries me the most is people getting stuck at work. Do you think the mayor will ask people and business to stay home and closed tomorrow or is that to risking for her to do incase it is not as bad as we are saying??

Well, after a look-see on GRL...I see very slight movement...more of a wobble than anything else. Who knows what he is going to do? This is a nasty little boy for sure!

Poor New Orleans....those folks are getting the wrath of Isaac. Water going over the levee, and homes getting flooded. This storm needs to move the Hell out of there. Prayers going their way.

Euro looks like MS coast as target. These models are really struggling with Isaac!

Maybe I am crazy, but after taking a good long look at GRL Radar, I am see the COC moving much more west then north. Almost as if to be heading about 290 degrees. Does anyone else see this...or am I really going cuckoo? LOL

I betcha Pilottown, LA is feeling this now.
