Re: September 2023

Late October to early November based on how the year has evolved so far is most likely time frame for a good front. 50's/70's.

Re: August 2023

Imagine that, the forecast around here is totally wrong. I just KNEW yesterday when most all of our area missed out that we weren't getting **** today when it was suppose to be "our turn". To hell with this miserable POS season. Couldn't agree more! We more than likely won't see any meani...

Re: July - Rain ChancesMonday-Tuesday/Heat Returns

If this is a wet pattern, we better really fear the dry pattern when it returns :o :o :o

Re: September. Increasing Moisture With Heavy Rainfall Possi

I hope I get nailed this time. I really do but I'll believe it when I see it. I feel like Harold Taft and his famous quote: "Never forecast snow in Texas until you see it falling outside your window" except replace snow with rain...hehe. I know the feeling and couldn't agree more. Those o...

Re: September: Rain Ending Monday. Mid-Upper 50s Wed-Thu

Harris County Flood Control data for the "event" (Thu-Sun) indicate widespread accumulations of 0.5" to 3.5" across the county, and about half of that rain fell yesterday (last evening). Doesn't look like there were many areas that didn't get any rain. I'd say that 70% chance of...

I feel your pain. No rain again in the League City desert!

Maybe tomorrow.....hmmm, seems like I have said that quite a bit lately.

Re: September: Wet Pattern Ahead With Heavy Rainfall Possibl

I am hapy for those that got rain, but so far we have been skunked in League City.

Hopefully, we will get something tomorrow so I can give the sprinklers a break. Although
not as dry as last year, it has still been a very dry summer down here.

Re: September Weather

We got almost 2" of rain here in League City today. Looks like the sprinkler system gets a few days off!!

Now if that cool front will just slide through here next wekend all will be right with the world again.

Re: August: Rain Chances Increasing Over SE TX

So now that Isaac is moving inland and will likely drag all of his rainfall with him, the drought watch resumes. I don't see much chance that his rain bands will make it this far west. Also, it doesn't look like the seabreeze will fire today either. Anyone see any light (or rain) on the horizon anyt...
