Re: JUNE 2015 -Heavy Rainfall/INVEST 91L & Watching The Gulf

My office is waiting to see what HISD does. They base their action on them. If they're closed we're closed but, we don't even know if that will be the case I mean. Re: 2011 ATL Hurricane Season: Watching The Gulf & Caribbean

There's definitely no MJO coming, it remains very weak and in Asia/Indian Ocean. You can check on the status here in the weekly MJO discussion: http://www.cpc.ncep.noaa.gov/products/precip/CWlink/MJO/mjoupdate.pdf However, one of the researchers on the "tstorms" email list is talking abou...

Re: Labor Day Weekend: Extreme Wildfire Danger

just walked out of movies from Edwards on iten and silver and looking east it looks BLACK. Not to mention it smells like smoke.

In a horrible timing moment 96.5 is playing "blame it on the rain." :/

Re: Troipcal Storm Lee: S of Louisiana

That blob underneath miss and al looks CRAZY huge. Scary. Looks almost as big as the states in my opinion. But, what do i know.

What I do know is that I would give ANYTHING for any part of Lee to be over here right now.

Re: Troipcal Storm Lee: S of Louisiana

It never fails but to rain every time to wash mine. If we ALL do it then maybe just maybe a few sprinkles will come down from the heavens...

Re: February 5-11-11 Arctic Blast/Ice/Hard Freeze Warning

This is 2011 why don't we have some like super duper weather perdicting machine done yet. None of this mumbo-jumbo I THINK it's going to snow/rain/heatwave kinda deal. Then again we were also suppose to have flying cars but, as we all know by houston traffic that sure as heck aint happening. Oh well...
