Just had a small cell with hail come over us in Richmond/Sugar Land. Wow.

It doesn't even feel like a severe storm type of day as cool as it is this morning. Don't let your guard down.

What a time for our radar to be down. What are good alternatives to KHGX ? It's going to be difficult to track tornado signatures with radars much further away. No rain so far, but at least we had a bright orange and pink sunrise this morning on the SW side of town.

I did see the trucks out sanding/salting 59 around the Beltway (SW side) on my drive home. Glad to see them out, but it was a heavy downpour and I'm hoping some of it stuck instead of getting washed away to the drains. Stay warm everyone!
