Re: June 2025

Just took this on my evening walk of the storm towards Columbus. https://i.postimg.cc/fT9s9QcW/IMG-5821.jpg Howdy neighbor! Quite a lightning show last night in that one. We are new to the area, near Rock Island. I put out fertilizer in anticipation and got almost nothing. Hoping for a soaker this ...

I have video as it blew in and at the peak. Pretty wild for an evening we didn’t expect to see anything.
We are getting closer to completion. Colorado County here we come!

We just got power back last night around 7. We live near Antoine & 290. I've never seen anything like that storm and hope to never see one again. Feels like hurricane dress rehearsal. Missed Y'all !

Re: January 2024

KPRC already hyping up the Hurricane forecast. A bit excessive with the title. https://www.click2houston.com/weather/2024/01/04/hurricane-season-from-hell-forecast-for-houston/ I can’t tell you the last time I watched the news or read a major outlets website. They are a clown circus of poor journal...

Re: September 2023

Man, this El Nino pattern is really refreshing outside.🤣🤣 El Niños don’t really bring in cooler weather. They’re known for rain. Which we should be getting a lot of over the next few months. I can guarantee it will start to rain as soon as we break ground on our barndominium in Colorado County in t...

Re: August 2023

We had our land cleared in Colorado County and the soil has turned the consistency of talcum powder. Sandy loam is so much different than the clay we have at our house in Houston. I can almost guarantee when we start to build out there, that's when the rains will return.

Well two days in a row now the storms missed me by hair. I actually need some rain as it’s getting really dry around the neighborhood. The non-irrigated lawns are starting to look really bad/brown too. Well you know Jason, feast or famine around here. We had a little here at Gulfgate.. I'm grateful...

Re: August 2021: Tracking TD 9/Gulf Coast Threat

As a fellow Doctor, I can assure you that he's tired too. We all are tired — of these perfectly good storms being wasted on those boonies in Louisiana. Am I missing something? Stratton has multiple (troll) personalities. Some are more tropikal than others. Is AZ back? I've been wondering.....
