I think we're going to come up a degree or two short and break the streak.
Hurray! That is a streak worth breaking!

Re: Even Hotter Next Week?

Has anyone heard about this? Eric Berger, in his post in the Chronicle today, stated that some models are showing it to be even hotter next week. I cannot find the link, but it is in this morning's Chronicle. I had not heard this. I heard that the High was forecast to move westward Wednesday-Thursd...

Re: August Weather Discussion

Congrats katdaddy! I am happy for anyone who receives rain. Had some dark clouds early in the day here in Stafford, but quickly cleared out. Sigh... I even washed my car last week, but it didn't work.

Watch out for blackouts/burnouts: From Portastorm: Saw a couple of interesting items on Twitter this morning, including: * As of 8:30 a.m., demand for power in Texas is exceeding the forecasted load by ERCOT. Re: July: Week of 25th - Don Near S TX/ Hot & Dry

Finally getting a nice storm in Stafford. It's been cloudy and windy most of the day. Would look like it was going to rain, but nothing. Hearing some thunder too. Hope the rain hangs around for awhile and doesn't clear out quickly.

Re: July: Week of 18th - Rain Moving Into Houston!!

I got robbed today. Some promising storms were headed towards the house but then suddenly they all evolved into a line and pushed east towards Liberty. I've been a lurker on these forums for awhile. You always seem to get robbed. Not fair is it? So sorry... I'll try to push some your way. These sto...

Re: July: Week of 18th - Rain Moving Into Houston!!

I was so excited, I even took a picture of the rain. I don't know how much we got, but at one point it was coming down pretty hard. Looks like it is clouding up again. Can we hope for another shower?
