Re: FEBRUARY 2018 - Roller Coaster WX To End February
Umm...I thought it was supposed to be in the 70’s today but the highest temperature I’ve seen here in Katy has been about 60 degrees. What’s up with that and will it continue tomorrow?

How much longer do we expect this snow to last? I have to get some sleep, but I don’t want to miss it! I’m between Cypress and Katy off of Fry Rd.

Re: July 2017 - Shower/Storm Chances Continue
Pouring buckets of rain here between Katy and Cypress! Looks like more than a passing shower on the maps, is that blob of rain in La headed our way too?

Re: July -Weekend Rain Chances. Watching Dorian
After our experience with Ike, I am always leary of those storms that come from the "land of Ike". Too far away for anyone to tell, but it never hurts to be prepared. It's just the beginning of the season for us.

Re: April - Ending on Mild Note
I'm surprised we aren't hearing about flooding out here. But then, I'm not hearing about anything because the minute the wind blows stronger than 5 mph my Dish TV goes out. Just when you WANT to watch tv.

Re: October:Mid Week Front & Hints Of Much Colder Wx Late Mo
Here between Cypress and Katy we haven't gotten a drop of rain this morning, just some dark clouds and thunder.
Looks to be brightning up out there right now. Are we in for another round later today? I need to run errands and don't want to get rained on!

Re: August: Shower/Storms And An Early Season 'Cool' Front
Small storm passed through Katy about 30 minutes ago. Not much rain, some thunder, but no big deal at all. Now the sun is out and so is my power! This is the second time in two weeks that a summer t-storm has knocked the power out! GRRR...would be very happy if the sun would stay hidden until the li...

I second that! We need a "like" button. It's very reassuring to have so many knowledgable folks here that are willing to share their expertise. Then when I share the info with others, it makes me look like I'm the smart one! :D I don't go anywhere else for my weather info, so thanks everyo...

Is that thunder I am hearing off in the distance from here in Katy? My yard would love to get a shower today.

Re: TS Alex. 75 Miles E of Belize City
I'm a long-time lurker who can never remember her password to reply. :-) Finally re-registered since this looks like it will be a long and busy tropical season ahead. This guy Alex looks to be awfully far south at this point, with lots of land to go over before hitting water again. Is he expected to...
