Re: Hurricane Alex. 110 Miles ENE of La Pesca. 85 MPH/962 M

areas in louisiana and north texas have got more rain than me. so far this has been a big disappointment as far as rainfall for the Houston area goes. honestly we could have used a weak tropical storm because we need the rain! i know its not over yet but i am not confident at this moment that anyone...

Re: Hurricane Alex. 155 Miles E of La Pesca. 80 MPH/959 MB

im not sure if you look at the radar on wunderground.com you can see the eye pretty well and it looks like a clear northwest movement but that is to my amateur, untrained eye

Re: Hurricane Alex. 155 Miles E of La Pesca. 80 MPH/959 MB

looks like alex had one more trick up his sleeve. this storm has been elusive just when we think we got it he stalls out and moves north. i am very concerned about a possible lack of rainfall! i thought a coastal trough was going to help provide all of our lawns with rain. i live in northwest harris...

Re: TS Alex. 440 Miles ESE of La Pesca. 65 MPH/985 MB

Tyler the last 3 fixes average out to be North.....but its wobbling for sure.. I was just referring to a recon center fix map posted on Eastern where they had found the center had begun moving just a bit more westerly. It indeed could be just a wobble, or the beginnings of a more NW heading. I see ...

Re: TS Alex. 440 Miles ESE of La Pesca. 65 MPH/985 MB

yea we will see once this storm stops moving NORTH.... According to the latest recon center fixes, the storm has begun a NW heading, albeit slowly... I think we are still on wobble watch. yea i dont care what the models are saying now the storm has moved directly north all day! i will be watching t...

Re: TS Alex. 420 Miles ESE of Tampico. 60 MPH/990 MB

Accuweather says this "If Alex remains a smaller, more compact storm, he will likely track northwestward into Mexico. If he becomes a larger storm, Alex will have a better chance at turning northward into Texas."
i was wondering if anyone had an opinion on this statement?

Re: TS Alex. 420 Miles ESE of Tampico. 60 MPH/990 MB

Looks like Alex is growing from a boy to a man. he is getting quite large! there is no question that we will still see widespread decent rainfall even if the storm were to hit brownsville

Re: TS Alex. 85 Miles WNW of Campeche. 60 MPH/989 MB

the fact of the matter is the storm is moving NORTH NORTH WEST right now and it is moving very slowly giving the high time to weaken. So i dont care what the models say im not letting my guard down until that things starts to move in a more westerly motion

Re: TS Alex. 100 Miles WSW of Campeche. 45 MPH/991 MB

this storm looks to have stalled out. i dont believe any model predicted that. would this give more time for the trough to dig and make a northerly track more likely?
