Severe thunderstorm watch issued for SE Texas until 5 am.

That sure is one large MCS moving through the state tonight.Some much needed rain for alot of people tonight in Texas.

SPC has also expanded the slight risk are to the coast.

The large MCS has developed as forecast to our west.

Both the Euro and GFS have been showing a Pacific crossover around the beginning of June for the last few days now.Not buying it yet but something to keep an eye on.

The MCS tomorrow is coming at the wrong time of day. It looks like pretty weak sauce by the time it gets to southeast TX.

12Z mesoscale models actually look pretty good to me.

If you don't see any rain during the daytime today, late tonight/tomorrow morning everyone should see some rain with the front as a large MCS pushes through.
