Pretty good agreement today coming in between the models of widespread rain coming back around the first of June.As a disturbance moves over SE Texas.The ICON and GFS even hint at some tropical development once the disturbance gets into the Gulf.Not that im buying that though...

May be a rainy morning tomorrow for areas west of I-45.As a weakening MCS moves in.

Very sad news.Two people have died and seven are injured when a home under construction collapsed in Conroe from the storm.Power line's and trees are down also in that area.

Rain may be back on the menu around the end of the month,as several models show a northwest flow aloft starting up.We'll see how the models trend over the next week.

Rainfall over the last 2 weeks.A big chunk of the area has received 6+ inches of rain.With some localized spots of 8-10 inches.( Overall SE Texas and the coastal bend ended up with the highest rainfall totals in the state.)
