Re: March 2022
Spacecity Weather really downplaying this. https://spacecityweather.com/strong-storms-and-flooding-are-possible-monday-night-and-tuesday-and-a-stage-1-flood-alert-is-in-effect-for-inland-areas/ I think it’s actually spot on and very measured without unduly alarming people. Eric is a sharp guy and k...

Re: March 2022
15z SREF now has up to 75% STP for the Houston Metro, this is getting very dangerous. Geeze. So somebody in Harris County is very likely to get slammed. The HRRR does show Supercellular activity across Southern Texas, San Antonio & Austin, before coming in as a messy Squall line Much better scenari...

Re: February 2022
New RAP isn’t that impressive. Channel 2’s Justin Stapleton just showed their futurecast and said if it holds we could be looking at snow bursts and sleet across Houston. Re: February 2022
No. A similar warm nose is also present for the UK. Well in that case I hope the qpf map with that cluster of blue in Harris County disappears. Not if it’s sleet. I’m cool with sleet. Better than nothing. I assumed he meant freezing rain when he mentioned the warm nose. I wouldn’t mind sleet either.

Re: February 2022
Cold air layer will remain shallow. If any precip falls it will likely be sleet/freezing rain Thanks for the feedback. Is the latest UK model depicting all snow?? No. A similar warm nose is also present for the UK. Well in that case I hope the qpf map with that cluster of blue in Harris County disap...
