The blob in the SW Gulf is more impressive than Bill!

I am curious about the blowup south of the storm. it looks pretty impressive. Could someone comment on what is going on down there, if anything.

How are the current temperatures upstream compared to what was forecast for this time of day? Are they trending colder or warmer compared to what was forecast? Do we still anticipate freezing temperatures to arrive around midnight for the northwest Harris County area?

Always seems close but no cigar. I have lived here all my life and it is the same old same old....cold with no moisture or moisture with no cold. Very difficult to get it all together at the same time. But we keep watching and hoping!

i know everyone is excited about the chance of snow around Houston. i am too! However, i have to drive to Dilley, Tx (about 85 miles south of San Antonio on I-35). i am planning on leaving around 7:00PM thurs. I would love to see some snow during this event, but i am also worried about driving. Anyb...
