Re: September 2024
I’m not liking the yellow area at all in the NHC tropical outlook photo. It’s too much leaning in our direction.

Re: Tropical Storm Francine
Travis Herzog posted this on Facebook about 30 minutes ago: Francine rapidly developing an eye, wobbles off track to the west. Those are you 1PM Monday tropical headlines. Francine's developing eye is now visible on Brownsville's radar, and based on how quickly the pressure is starting to drop, we m...

Re: Tropical Storm Francine
I read the center has shifted about 40 miles to the west. Will that affect the track?
We are not letting our guard down until this storm is gone. Rita was an excellent example when it changed directions and caught people off guard east of the Houston area.

Reasons I am not privy to say.
Does anyone know anything about 91L possibly becoming a major?
Thanks.

Re: What started your interest in weather?
My mother loved watching the weather. She knew when anything tropical was brewing because she said she could feel it. I think what she felt was the barometric pressure changes. This was many years ago. I actually went through Carla as a young child, but I remember it. I was scared and excited at the...

Once again, not weather related, but I have some amazing news to share with y’all. My mom got diagnosed with CMML Leukemia last year in October and my dad got diagnosed with Burkitt Lymphoma in February. I had to take FMLA to take care of them. My mom had a stem cell transplant in March at MD Ander...

We won’t be getting much sleep either. Same feeling about night storms.
We are getting a heavy band of rain. I’m at church in Mont Belvieu, the church is quite big, and we can hear the rain pouring down.

Has anyone else received the Ready Harris email?
I don’t know how to post the image of the email. However, that is concerning saying the NHC is saying SETX landfall.
