Re: September 2019 - Imelda Weakens. Flash Flood Watch/Heavy Rainfall Threat
Unfortunate decision to hold class at Houston Public Schools HISD... Flash Flood Emergency means it'll be hazardous for parents to get their kids out of school... and how will Houston's roads look in four hours, when the final bell rings???

Re: September 2019 - Gulf Mess Rain Chances. Work Week Heavy Rainfall Threat

Hope it doesn't happen but when it's doing this 4 days out it's a red flag and n...

Re: Brooks Garner
Hi, friends! The move to Colorado went well, with no major issues. I've been settling into the new station and getting oriented with and acclimated to the high plains/mountain weather patterns. Glad to be here on the forum! Thank you again for all of your kind words!

Re: APRIL 2019 -- Weekend Rain/Severe Weather Possible
As of now a bunch of us are stuck in S Padre Island due flight cancellations that began around 3:30 AM. Nasty squall line approaching Harlingen ... and they laughed at me for driving ... ;) There are far worse places to be stuck. (As long as you’re still on the island.) It’s dry so far up here 13mi...

As of Noon, this Tuesday 9/18/18 .... The NHC has stopped tracking the, "0% region", removing the yellow hatch area ... But, storms there continue to fire around the wave... Hopefully the wind shear continues to do its job to end this thing... Tracking high PWATs coming our way, to SETX, T...

A HUGE thank you to all the pro mets ( Brooks, Andrew, Srain, Wxman 57, Jeff, Belmer and Mcheer) that came on here and helped with the forecasts and general observations. Re: JUNE 2018: Heavy Rainfall Possible Through Wednesday
Seeing the short range model trends and observing the rain dissipating in Matagorda County, I'm growingly confident that we'll see an end to this rain faster than earlier anticipated. HRRR forecasts a quiet evening commute with generally dissipating rain.
