We received 3" of rain at my house from this morning's storm (south of Alvin). My yard looks like a lake, the trees are loving this! Total since Sunday 4". I hope we get more, but not looking forward to the mosquitoes

Wow, I'm awake now! It just very loud here south of Alvin! Heavy rain, some wind and lots of lightening. Been a long time since I've seen a storm this intense.

I saw a few flakes leaving home in Alvin! What a surprise! Nothing hitting the ground, but still pretty to watch in the dark sky.
