So there is no current model support for what I'm about to say. There is a possibility of a center relocation, if you want call it that tonight, much further southwest. Just thought I'd throw that out there.

An East to West system is still popping up in the outlook. Now instead of points east, Texas is the bullseye. Now we know how these things go. First, we need to actually get a system in the gulf before getting too carried away. We also know that being so close to home we don't have time to guess one...

Gulf watch is definitely on. Impact appears to be Louisiana and points east. However, at the juncture that is absolutely subject to change.

We very well may have a bonified gulf watch over the coming days. That pesky east to west system we spoke about several days ago. The trend is there.

So many innocent lives gone. It is something I'll never understand.

In my opinion, no need for a gulf watch just yet. The system in BOC is behaving as expected. There is still some conversation to be had about some potential in the N.E. Gulf. There could actually be two systems form. One heads west towards Texas. The other the opposite direction. Hmmm

91L was never going to be a texas problem though, the upper level pattern was never right for that, could see a lemon issued in the NE gulf in the coming week, ensembles favor strong ridging over the SE US meaning anything that tries to form in the NE gulf or east of florida would likely get steere...

Never mind about the gulf watch. Yesterdays runs were stupid. Back to our original thinking.
