I left 290/Tidwell about 115 headed to town on 290. Temp was 68, hit the change at 290/610. Windows fogged up instantly and temp jumped to 77.

I rolled the dice, tomatoes and peppers went in the ground yesterday. Cukes are all 2" tall. I am hoping this wind does not whip them to death tomorrow!

So what happened? Why was this such a bust? What elements where missing?

After a week of hyping tornadoes, severe wind and possibly hail this thing blows in like a lamb for most of us. Not even a clap of thunder here on the NW side of Houston.

So, since the line is forming right at downtown Houston...shouldn't those of us on the west side miss out on this round?

I will NOT complain about this event but I was hoping it would be a little more spread out. It hasn't even started unfolding yet and I already have 2 " here at Clay/Mason. Good luck and hope everyone benefits from this.
