Re: June 2023

You couldn’t pay me a lot of money to live in the Valley. Brutal down there. Got through this tournament with a championship today and my oldest walked it off in extras so that made the 110s beat indices more tolerable! Awesome! I remember those days very well when my son played travel ball with th...

Re: June 2023

My gosh what a bunch of cry babies in here. Yes it is a bit hotter than normal but overall, typical summertime weather for us here in Texas. We had a nice wet Spring which wasn't going to last when summer kicked in. Welcome to Texas.

Re: June 2023

You don’t see mammatus clouds very often in Florida. Hard to tell in the photo Cool. Gulf coast or Atlantic? This week in Boca at the Boca Raton resort on the Atlantic. Next two weeks back to our place back in IRB on the west coast. Thank goodness for house sitters keeping the plants and lawn alive...

Re: May 2023

:D Well, according to the latest 7-day QPF from this morning, that sure deescalated quickly 🙄 West of 45 stands a much better chance of seeing some significant rains. It’s still possible east of 45 but more likely west of there. And I also posted a couple days ago this could be more of a south and c...

Re: February 2023

Winter is DONE as the mid to long range shows nothing significant coming down...no more chance of freezing temps. Spring has puked all over our landscape already with even some bluebonnets already popping up. My cardio workouts will now be outside and time to hit the bulkheads for catfish and crappie!

Re: February 2023

Yep, I won't plant till March but time to get the soil turned over. Man, I was out and about yesterday and Spring is everywhere. The yellow jasmine on my back fence is everywhere, weeds galore, plum trees in full bloom etc etc. Maybe a light freeze this weekend but that won't hurt anything. Love see...

Re: February 2023

Went to Lowe's yesterday and they just got stocked up with all the veggies, plants, flowers, hanging baskets etc etc. Spring is just about here! I'm going to fire up the tractor, hook up the tiller and start getting the ground prepped for my veggie garden after this next rain.

Re: January 2023

Come on yall know better than to do this, it is going to get cold here, the operational runs mean very little in terms of temps, the mesocale guidance has a way better handle and they are most definitely colder and thats very important, ensembles agree, the cold is coming and that is a guarantee, h...

Re: January 2023

I’ll be in those darkest blues the 27th onward :) I’m thinking they’re gonna need to shift some of those darker colors east based on what I’m seeing from some ensembles. The central and northern plains look really cold once we get past 10 days or so. That should be able to make its way down south y...
