I hope this doesn't end up being one of those cases where the front goes too far south, and it becomes a mess trying to figure out when the front will actually get a big enough push east to get into houston.

0c line too far to the westtt Im assumign that the sytem would pull in cooler air on it back side, so maybe a rain to snow event?

wxman- would you consider the canadian to be an outlier? I mean it'd take a pretty strng system to erode such an air mass, right?

After looking at temp forecasts for surrounding offices, I think it'd be a good idea for HGX to go ahead and lower MAX temps. Heck, waco isn't supposed to break 30 tomorrow and Austin is expected to have a high of 34 wednesday and 32 on thursday!

Strange that it'd slow it down by that much, this thing seems to be right on schedual if not slightly ahead. What kind of temps does "mighty chilly" equate to?

Srain- with the potential for thick cloud cover and strong CAA, would you think that highs in the lower 40's for the northern metro may be a little to warm?

Are the CMC's surface temps a little warmer. -10 never makes it into southeast texas.

And wouldn't that help retard substantial modification of the air mass behind the system?
