Re: January 2024

Bottle up all that rain and save it for the upcoming miserable summer. Don’t get the impression that we’ll be dealing with a miserable summer this year but I do think the 2025 summer could be miserable. This summer we have to watch the tropics. One major hurricane can make an otherwise moderate sum...

And in the next episode of January Weather Roulette, we will see 70 degree highs tomorrow, soon to be followed by inundating rains next week. Lol. The TX weather memes just make themselves these days, don't they?

Re: January 2024

Ch 13 says arctic outbreak then has highs in the 40s. LMAO Well, Ch 13 lost a dose of credibility with me when Travis Herzog openly mocked those (less than a week ago) adhering to the forecast models showing the very cold outbreak we are about to experience. Wish I would’ve seen this. Say no more…....

Re: January 2024

Alright, I think it's time to start taking this potential winter precip scenario seriously.
Good time to ensure proper pipe insulation is ready (precip or not, it's going to be cold).
Also, Travis Herzog has proverbial egg on his face for this one.

Conditions in and around the HOU metro are proving to be more conducive for severe weather today. The highest risk today will be east of the metro area into the Golden Triangle and South Louisiana (mostly south of Interstate 10) throughout the late afternoon/evening/nighttime hours. Stay alert today...
