I can't wait to the see the newest Univ of Nebraska US Drought Monitor maps for Tx/La later this week. I'd guess there will be nary a color on said maps.

Ch 13 says arctic outbreak then has highs in the 40s. LMAO Well, Ch 13 lost a dose of credibility with me when Travis Herzog openly mocked those (less than a week ago) adhering to the forecast models showing the very cold outbreak we are about to experience. Wish I would’ve seen this. Say no more…....

Conditions in and around the HOU metro are proving to be more conducive for severe weather today. The highest risk today will be east of the metro area into the Golden Triangle and South Louisiana (mostly south of Interstate 10) throughout the late afternoon/evening/nighttime hours.
