Tornado Footprint

I have never seen anything like this...wow.

A rare view of a tornado's footprint is revealed in this aerial photograph of Washington, Ill., the day after an EF-4 tornado tore through town.

Need seasons...even the flora and fauna do better. Bugs go away. No gusts cooler winds here yet.

Re: NOVEMBER: More Heavy Rainfall Possible Next Week?

Was flipping channels and saw Fox26 weather radar...ran outside and grabbed the Halloween stuff that had dried off....just in time. I love the way Mother Nature has to show us she is NOT predictable :D

Re: OCTOBER: Rain Chances/97L & First Strong Fall Cold Fron

Side note, I guess the dedicated tropical sub-forum is in disrepute, with all things tropical now in the main forum?
Well I guess since it is "Hurricane Central" nothing gets posted until the storm actually becomes a hurricane??

Re: September: Heavy Rainfall Potential/95L & Manuel Moistur

About a half inch here so far...rains pretty hard but only for a few minutes. Happy it's not flooding though, and happy to get some rain period. Even with the drought and dry ground, that will cause issues in developed areas with paved roads. http://belo.bimedia.net/KHOU/weather/animated-loops/ssit...
