Re: May 2021

Well technically I guess if water temps are around 78-79 in that northern gulf, that technically “could” still support some development, but nothing strong, still even a weak depression could cause huge problems

Re: May 2021

Unfortunately its looking like rain chances at least between 30-50% might be sticking around until next thursday or so, seems like some of the models including the GFS are indicating at least a decent chance for atorms through next thursday, doesnt seem like that high pressure to the east of us will...

Re: May 2021

We probably are going to have to watch friday and Saturday as well for the potential for more heavy rain and flooding, seems like the moisture wont be cut off like it was today

Re: May 2021

Well its good that alot of us avoided flooding, but hurricane season is almost upon us yet and the gulf will yet again be another prime spot for development, we avoided this flooding problem( wel most of us did) but we got a busy 4-5 months ahead pf us.

Re: May 2021

That whole line is making me nervous, I dont see it weaking with the huge influx of gulf moisture feeding into it, storms are producing 3-5 inch per hour rain fall rates. Heard a city near la grange picked up 6 inches of rain in an hour

Re: May 2021

Do yall think the WPC might issue a high risk for flash fooding? This has the potential with another 2-4 days of heavy rain to be devastating for some areas.

Texashawk no its not a feedback error, this complex of atorms is expected later on this afternoon and evening, dont let the sunny skies fool you, the atmosphere is just getting recharged at the moment.
