I see lake charles discussion took chance of snow out of forecast for us here in beaumont. Said was siding with the warmer euro. And was.to be all rain. Kfdm has high 38 and 20% rain friday. Hmmmmm any thoughts

Seems the arctic air is moving faster south then originally thought. By my calculation at its current forward speed it should be in southeast texas by 9 am. Anyone else observe this.

I still don't see any bitter cold in nw canada there is some in ne canada but never seen our arctic fronts come from there. Im willing to bet steak dinner we will not get hard freeze and highs in 30' s this week seems to be just another cool dreary week.

Well if the arctic air is suppost to be as cold as some advertise on here I don't understand why not one official forecast mentions it. BPT. One thing many have not brought up is the lack.of snow cover to our north. This is going to make a difference allowing any cold air to modify more then if we had more to our north.

Looks like the coldest air will move more to our NE. Im leaning on this just be a couple light freezes.

I would say so Wxman the gfs has us in the 60s next week no.freezes at all for next 15 days. Be real helpful in my planning my vacation I.have to.take. if.we had any clue if its going to be freezing sure would like to plan a fishing trip

24 here west of. Beaumont this morning I see. It didn't take long for our blizzard and cold to disappear on the models. Hey but don't worry they will be back just ten days from now as always

Remember guys the models were showing armgeddon around the 1st of january so its fun to look at and dream of snow but if the models keep showing this next friday then maybe. Odds are against it

The big snow in 73 was in jan. But it did snow 3 times that year. 73 was a blast it actually started in the morning and snowed all day 6-8 inches. While we are wishcasting maybe this time it snows it is during the day. Lol
