Cpv17 I just hate it because my family spent so much time making plans and ordering a bunch of stuff for the eclipse, like a big viewing party and all that, just for that all to go down the drain lol, texas weather sucks

I swear if rain ruins the eclipse im done, mother nature can be a true jerk sometimes, but im going to remain optimistic that we stay dry, fingers crossed models speed up the timing of the system to before the eclipse

Im going to have to reject that model post above, i could use a good 2-3 weeks of drier weather, plus the eclipse is coming, we certainly dont need any more rain anytime soon

looks like a squall line is beginning to develop out in west central texas, not sure if we see anything here locally though

Got about 2-3 inches here, finally nice to get a good rain event before the big suck kicks in, in a few months, then we will probably have to hope for a tropical wave/ system to bring us widespread rains
