Alex is a very large June system. More models are coming in line with Euro which points to a NE MEX landfall. Joe Bastardi is also calling for a NE MEX landfall but did state it could be close to S TX. He believes this will become the first hurricane of the 2010 season.

That makes 3 of us Aquaria and srainhoutx. I am scheduled for a conference in Salt Lake City next Monday and fly back into Hobby on Friday July 1st. Hoping this stays away from the TX Coast.

I agree with Jeff's update. I was thinking the same with impressive satellite image. This may become a very impressive

Huge bow echo/mcs on the way. I am expecting a new SVR Watch to be issued soon for SE TX. Just dont see this one fading away before it crosses SE TX.
