Re: 90L Gulf of Mexico
does anyone think it could make it up towards the upper Texas coast? I don't think so Red. I do think the "current" track thinking is perhaps a little more south than mentioned. Meaning I think that the "bulk" of moisture will be closer to the Texas/ Mexico border. Time will tel...

Re: wxdata Dan Meador 1951-2010
My heart is so saddened this morning with the news of Dan’s passing. Like many of us I’m sure, I grew up watching him on 11. In fact one of the funniest memories I have is one time Dan was on air and a bulb from one of the lights blew and if you have ever had the pleasure of working with those types...

Re: Tropical Depression Gaston 9/1/2010
Doesn't look to bad tonight. A small amount of convection. A huge amount of convection to its south. I stick with what I said earlier, 48-72 more hours and Gaston will be back.

After a NNE jog it will turn somewhat north before going NNE again. Still doesn't look great for Cape Cod, Ma other than going do...

Re: Tropical Depression Gaston 9/1/2010
Gaston, although not intimidating, still has some rather nice features to it. Void of any “real” deep convection but in my opinion it looks better tonight than it did earlier this afternoon.
