It appears to me from my untrained eye that the 12Z Euro has that NW Caribbean crawler headed toward the TX coast until the front in question actually comes all the way through and causes it to curve toward FL. So if there is skepticism (which I share) that the front makes it through... does that op...

The "bands" feeding in from the northwest appear to be developing some spotty showers. Maybe she won't stay completely asymmetric after all.

The latest wobble seems to be toward the west into Walker county.

The 9.6" I received since noon yesterday brings my 3-day total to over 23" here in northern Grimes County.

...And apparently lots more to come.

I recorded 9.7 inches overnight... and actually that all happened in a 5-1/2 hour period. Crazy downpours and amazing lightning.
