All of the storms are going poof now real quick. Looks like the air has been stabilized.

The atmosphere is suppose to destabilize again by tonight. The HRRR shows CAPE values over 3500+ J/kg as the squall line moves through.

2.05” at my house! Hallelujah! More late tonight. Several folks in the Golden triangle received 4-5” past few hours. Hopefully tonights squall line isn’t tooooo bad. I do have a bad gut feeling though. Stay safe!

* IMPACTS...Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects. Tree
limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.

71° dew point here in Wharton. Plenty of moisture in the air.

Humidity is 74% and dew point is 74 here in Rosharon. Temp is 83. Feels like I need gills.

My TWC app is reporting a dew point of 77 in Rosharon. So no doubt it’s extremely muggy and uncomfortable around your area. It’s looking like around 4am should be go time for you according to the HRRR.
