Think about how bad it could’ve been if the soils were saturated.

Kingwood36 oh I definitely understand, it’s probably going to take a day or so for this to clear out, maybe sooner, hope your family recovers soon though!

Ok Im over the mist. Winds in Beaumont seem to be slowing a bit gusting to about 30-35ish now. So far max gust was 43 early this morning. Now if we can just push this mist outta here…. Im over Nicholas already. He gave me a headache last two days on who what where when etc. Good news? This is great napping weather.

Here at my job in Rosenberg they get hit much harder than the Wharton area. I didn’t even see any twigs down at my house when I left for work this morning. I get to about Beasley on 59 and started to see a lot more damage. I get to my job and there’s street signs blown down everywhere, a small tree got uprooted, and branches, twigs, and leaves scattered all over the place. And a lot more rain than we got too. We even have some shingles that got blown off the roof of the house over here at my job.

I’m ready for a severe thunderstorm to hit my house and bring me about 5” of rain. I got a quarter of an inch out of Nicholas.
