Sambucol no, but it is 240 hours out so its just kind of speculation at this point, but as CPV17 noted their is a very strong signal (GEFS) in the 10-14 day timeframe of potential some very cold weather like today across the central US, time will tell

Re: Winter Long Range Discussion
The timing of February 2021 is a yes, but right now, it appears it's not the strength of the cold wave for now, I've seen this signal this far out become way stronger as it gets closer, Even though that the pattern is suggesting another big one, we're at the peak of one of them in this pattern, soon, it's going to prepare itself for another wave & then round #2 will come, but only time will tell if that's the case.Stratton20 wrote: ↑Thu Feb 03, 2022 9:19 pmSambucol no, but it is 240 hours out so its just kind of speculation at this point, but as CPV17 noted their is a very strong signal (GEFS) in the 10-14 day timeframe of potential some very cold weather like today across the central US, time will tell

It’s always a good thing to have heads up. I’ll just stay prepared for this next one that’s coming. I’d rather know about it in advance than be caught off guard!

Spring looks like it’s on the way if the MJO forecasts verify
