As I sit out on the patio on this fine evening, next to the pool heated to 90….I can say I’m not looking forward to the cold front. Other than a lack of sunshine, this has been a most enjoyable holiday break of mild weather. Walks every day. Kids playing outside. It’s been great 👍🏻

It now appears there will be another front coming in around January 7th which is next Friday. The latest Euro doesn’t show it but it has support from the GFS/GEFS. The Euro has been showing it off and on.

CPV17 yep and the 18z GFS has a pretty cold airmass behind that front if it plays out

Better keep that pool on 90°F! 8-)

Potential 50°F+ drop in temperature on Saturday in CLL...and even colder Monday am.

The 12z NAM is interesting. It has about half or possibly even more of southeast TX staying in the 30’s for a good part of the day on Sunday. The NAM usually does pretty well with temps.

Interesting to see the 12z Nam trying to show a little light wintry mix in our western counties , dont think their is enough moisture for this , though the cold air would be in place, just something cool to see, dont think it would cause any problems even if this did happen

What I meant was wait till it gets within range. It might be interesting to follow it.
