Jacksboro is a cool town. The fried chicken at a since-closed convenience store on Main was some of the best ever. Served with a couple of slices of soft, warm white bread.

It looks like those storms will merge into a line stretching south of San Antone and up through North Texas. So far so quiet out ahead of it but that can change in 20 minutes.

the HRRR continues to show more stable air across Central Texas and the weakening of storms along 35. Something to keep an eye on for the next hour or two.

It might weaken the storms a little bit, but the storms will still likely be on the strong side

Supercell near Lockhart. Concerned about the vector on this one as they will be long lasting.
