1.83” of pure gold and it’s still coming down moderately. We really needed this! Still need several inches to get to avg but I’m glad this came to fruition this time.

The drought monitor should show significant relief for much of the state on the next update.

Managed an inch earlier and it's coming down hard again. Should be nice and green in a few days.

I feel this. All I’ve gotten is a quarter inch as well. At least that’s enough to settle the dust for a couple days.

It doesn’t look exactly that promising south of I-10 with next weeks system either. Although it does look better than this current system per the Euro. The Euro looks the best. The GFS doesn’t have much for coastal areas next week or much of anything for all of southeast TX for that matter.

2.6 inches total. A good haul for greening and enjoying the cooler air. Models were spot on. Potentially, another 1-2 inches in next week's storm. That would be very nice.

I have higher hopes with this next system now after the general success with this one. When Texas starts receiving widespread rain this time of year, a trend usually develops. Things will rapidly green up now and the atmosphere should respond with more moisture available for future systems.

Close to 2.50” yesterday. Thats awesome. I cant remember last time we got that much. I’ll gladly take it. Hopefully this is a sign of things to come. Good things. I second what Herzog posted… “ It's nice to get a "normal" rain for a change. Nothing severe, hardly any street flooding.
Just a life-giving rain. Thank you!”
